Spaghetti and Karaoke together at last!

Last night was supergoodtimes at Spaghetti-oke. Ok, there was no spaghetti this time, but we managed. Maria, Growden, The Lone Consultant, Amos Beechwell, My Boy and My Bro all came out for laughter and loud music. (LOUD!)(WHAT?) Even on an empty stomach Jay-Bro was able to belt out a pretty amazing Baby One More Time. Watch out Britney! If he learns how to drive with a baby on his lap you're toast! Kevin Federline is kinda his type... Maria gave it her all on La Isla Bonita.

Afterwards I took what felt like a very long walk through Parkdale at 2am. This is not generally a carefree activity. There are very few people out at that hour on a Monday, but there are some… Some gross ones, some scary ones, some creepy-looking ones… I was glad to get home to bed. “They” say Parkdale is coming up. I do see more expensive boutiques opening, a few classy bars have popped up in the last couple of years and since Jimmy’s closed the corner of Lansdowne & Queen is most certainly more pleasant. Parkdale “coming up” is great for people who just bought homes and are planning to live there for years to come. I live there NOW and NOW it ain’t all that great.

That said, I still love Parkdale. Parkdale Pride, yo!
